I heard a reporter mention that Robin Williams did not hide his demons from his fans. This haunted my mind for a few days...does the reporter believe he was fighting real demons or does she just use it as a metaphor? Then I thought, "Well who cares what the reporter thinks! What do you think?"
This is what I think....demons are real. They are an evil presence that can not be seen by the natural eye (most of the time anyway), but they have a way of entering our thoughts. Even though I do not personally fight the suicide demon, I struggle with others, like fear and insecurity. I have come to the conclusion that since we are all created to be unique, we must learn to fight off this kind of evil in a way that suits us. Something that works for me may not work for you and vice versa.
With that said, I still think we need to always continue to find solutions to these problems and never give up trying. We can learn from each other. So even though you may not agree completely with me, I encourage you to hear me out and take away from this post whatever portion speaks to you and ignore what you don't agree with.

I encourage you to find out who God created you to be and realize how important you are. You are a gift to the people around you and if for some reason this doesn't seem to be the case with you, then maybe you aren't living the life intended for you......Maybe it is time to make some changes....I don't care who you are, what you have done or any mistakes you have made in the past, you are special and you have a purpose. You are here on this earth for a purpose and I encourage you to find that purpose and fulfill your destiny.
I hope you find the manner that suits you to fight off evil that plagues all of us. God bless Robin Williams for fighting so many years with evil. Even though it looks like evil won in the end, it didn't, because we have hours and hours of Robin Williams bringing us laughter and joy and fun still available to us. So I encourage you to focus on his life and how he touched so many people and don't give that stupid evil force attention.
I get my inspiration from Bob Petersen and Joel Osteen and the Bible, so if you need a place to start, that is what I recommend. I have placed links to their free sermons to the left of every page on this blog because they help me to be all I can be.
Love ya,
Sonia Rai
